Teeth Grinding in Children
It’s common for children to grind their teeth at night, especially during growth and development.
Most kids outgrow this habit by age 6–9 as their bite and jaw alignment mature.
Occasional grinding is normal and usually doesn’t cause damage. However, if it happens often or sounds loud, it can lead to tooth wear, sensitivity, or jaw soreness.
Make sure your child gets enough rest, stays hydrated, and manages stress, as these can all contribute to grinding.
