Brush your child’s teeth twice a day — after breakfast and before bedtime.
Use a fluoride toothpaste (e.g., Crest for Kids, Tom’s Fluoride for Children).
Use a soft, small-headed toothbrush designed for kids (e.g., Oral-B Kids). Replace it every 3 months or after your child has been sick.
Apply only a pea-sized amount of toothpaste.
Floss the spots we’ve recommended once each night before bedtime.
